The Wicker Park Learning Center was founded in 1989, and incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2002, to provide specialized tutoring programs for children having academic difficulties at an affordable cost. Our goal is to not only develop competent independent learners but also develop the students’ ability to think analytically and creatively in order to insure their success in higher education and future employment. As a year-round program, the learning and social skills are reinforced, even when school is not in session.
